Who We Are
The Dartmouth Photo Society is a volunteer and non-profit organization. We aim to provide an environment that encourages members to share their love of photography and to learn and teach each other various aspects of this popular art form.
From September to July we meet once a month on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7 pm - 9 pm at St. John's Anglican Church Hall, 1215 Main St., Dartmouth

Monthly Meetings
From September to June we meet on every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7 - 9 pm at the St. John's Anglican Church Hall, 1215 Main St., Dartmouth.
During July and August we do not have formal meetings as we are exploring the province and the world.

Annual Photo Exhibition
Our 4th Annual Photo Exhibition will be scheduled for a weekend in November in the Cole Harbour Place Public Library.
Members present their work to the general public.
Admission is free.
Time Flies, and DPS members that like to display some of their photos should get their prints ready and bring them along to our next meeting in October (13th) or the Coffee Chat on October 23.
- Print size should be 8x10 or 8x12 (we have mats for those and will display your photos in those )
- For other print sizes members are responsible for matting
- Framed work is acceptable, but frames should be light weight and we do not accept responsibility if frames get damaged
We hope to get 5 photos (8x10 or 8x12) from each of our members. Additional photos can be submitted an will be displayed as space permits.
Larger prints and framed work are accommodated as space permits.
